NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL: THINKTECH BRIEFS

Watch for our new YouTube Channel.  It's called ThinkTech Briefs.  The idea is that viewers in general and certainly ThinkTech viewers are looking for shorter clips these days, and our 30-minute talk show videos may be  a little too long for them.

Looking at YouTube on your computer, your smart phone or your Smart TV, you will see short curated clips on every subject, often selected for your taste.  Most people like them short.

So we've decided to try something new, that is, to break our 30-minute talk show videos into smaller segments.  Our studio engineers, who listen and attach Topic Titles as lower thirds at the bottom of our talk show videos, will find a good and logical place to break our videos up into smaller pieces.

This may be more watchable for many viewers.  It's easier, they stay, to watch a short clip rather than a longer one.  And it's actually faster to upload two short clips than one longer clip to YouTube.com.  Our ThinkTech stats will probably be improved, that is, in videos uploaded, in minutes watched, and in the views themselves.

So how will this affect you?  Well, you'll still have the benefit of seeing our regular stream of 30-minute talk shows and entr'acte shorts on our regular ThinkTech Hawaii YouTube and Vimeo channels, on our various social media platforms, and on the various series we submit for broadcast on Olelo 54.  But in a few weeks, you'll also be able to see these shorter clips on our new ThinkTech Briefs channel.

We're still working out the details, of course, and we may change and improve how we handle, stream and broadcast these clips on our various platforms.  So stay tuned for more on what we are learning and what we are doing on the new ThinkTech Briefs channel.  And if you have any questions or suggestions on that channel or otherwise making our content more engaging or watchable, please let us know.

Thanks so much.
