SUMMER WEBINARS COMING UP

Stand by for some summer webinars at ThinkTech.  The first one we’re planning is called Who’s Running for Lieutenant Governor.  It’s set for 10 am on Friday, July 1st.  It features the candidates for that office, presently including Keith Amemiya, Ikaika Anderson, Sylvia Luke and Sherry Menor-McNamara.  Attorney Louise Ing will be moderator.  It’ll be a discussion of qualifications and platforms, and we’ll find out what these candidates stand for and what they bring to the office.  And it will help you decide how you will vote.

The second such webinar will be at 10 am Friday, September 30th.  It’s part of our Burning National Issues series, and it’s called Legal Chicken, Legal Egg.  It will be an examination of the interactions between the changes in our laws and the changes in our society, and how the one affects the other.  Avi Soifer, former dean of the William S. Richard School of law, will moderate.  Several speakers will help him explore the several legal-societal issues now in play.

So stay tuned for these important ThinkTech webinar programs.  We will be sending publicity and registration links around in the next few weeks and we hope you will sign up for one or more of them.  We’ll stream each of them live to the registrants and the public, and we’ll upload them to our on demand platforms and our broadcast lineup.

We will be taking viewer questions in each of these webinars, so when you sign up to attend them, please plan to pose some good questions so the moderators can get good answers for you from the speakers.  As always, we want to drill down to learn what is going on in our world and foment active participate in the public conversation  These webinars are one good way to do that, so please watch for and attend these programs when you can.

Thanks.  We’ll see you there.
