WHAT THE NEW YEAR LOOKS LIKE FOR THINKTECH

We know there’ll be plenty of news this year, and not enough media to cover it (hundreds of newspapers across the country have closed this past year, and even the networks are under pressure).  We want to give you cutting edge news and analysis on the issues and events that will shape our lives together in Hawaii and on the planet, including covid, climate change, the economy, politics, geopolitics, the economy and government (social safety net, voting, gun control, Immigration, etc.)

We will cover and discover wider geography in show participants, dissemination platforms and viewership, including coverage in and with Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.  We will Improve our production values with lots of improvements in the way we and our hosts and guests use Zoom, and the way we organize, produce, broadcast and publicize our shows.

We’re improving our systems on webinars.  We did 20 last year and hope to do more this year.  And we’re  working hard on increasing our leverage with production, scheduling and outreach software, including Stripo, Cloudmail, Calendly and Claris, all of which we’ve successfully implemented in 2021, and which we will further extend in 2022.

And our people.  We have a fabulous team and we’re also engaging a backup engineer to fill in our staffing schedule in 2022.  Given covid and omicron, we want to protect our staff, so we’re not planning to have hosts or guests come back to the studio for now.  When the pandemic subsides, hopefully soon, we may be able to do that later in this year.

Our live show schedule starts up again on January 3rd. We have some new shows and new ideas for existing shows, some new topics, hosts, outreach and impact, and we’re delighted with our lineup of dedicated, curious, and intrepid citizen journalists for this coming year.  We’re thrilled to be able to provide this level of content for our viewers.

ThinkTech.  At the intersection of community and content.  Every Day Better, then, now, and in 2022.

Happy New Year to All
