WHAT THE NEW YEAR LOOKS LIKE FOR THINKTECH We know there’ll be plenty of news this year, and not enough media to cover it (hundreds of newspapers across the country have closed this past year, and even the networks are under pressure).   We want to give you cutting edge news and analysis on the issues and events that will shape our lives together in Hawaii and on the planet, including covid, climate change, the economy, politics, geopolitics, the economy and government (social safety net, voting, gun control, Immigration, etc.) We will cover and discover wider geography in show participants, dissemination platforms and viewership, including coverage in and with Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.   We will Improve our production values with lots of improvements in the way we and our hosts and guests use Zoom, and the way we organize, produce, broadcast and publicize our shows. We’re improving our systems on webinars.   We did 20 last year and hope to do more this year...

We’re doing this, as we have in the past, to give our management and staff time to catch up on things, including creating and editing talk show resources, doing file and software management and other administrative things. We treat it as a time to be particularly thoughtful and creative, and to find new and better ways to operate our studio, and improve our systems and production values, coverage and content. During the break we will be streaming encore shows 24x7, so you can enjoy some of our recent talk shows you may not have seen.   In that sense, it’ll be an opportunity for you to catch up, too. It’s important that we do this every year, and it’s not a holiday at all - we and our staff work jus...
